The Diamond Mortgage Group™ specializes

Diane H. DeLauro, is
the co-owner and co-founder of The Diamond
Mortgage Group™, LLC which was established
in 1998. She has over 20 years of experience
in mortgage lending, including five years
as a regional mortgage sales manager,
and holds a Masters of Business Administration
from Renssalear Polytechnic Institute.
“We understand that, for most people, a home
is the single largest investment they
will make, and they deserve expertise and
service that reflects the importance of that
investment.” Diane is a member of the Connecticut
Mortgage Bankers Association, the Eastern
Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, the Eastern
Connecticut Association of Realtors and is
a Corporator for Lawrence and Memorial Hospital.
Diane is licensed as a mortgage broker in
Connecticut.

Sandra A. Montanari, is
the co-owner and co-founder of The Diamond
Mortgage Group™, LLC established in 1998.
Sandy, a graduate of the University of
Connecticut , has more than 19 years of experience
in the mortgage banking industry, including
eight as a regional mortgage underwriting
manager. Sandy, also has extensive experience
as a previous designated underwriter
for FHA programs. “With over 200 loan programs
available, I am confident that we at
The Diamond Mortgage Group™ will provide
you with the best financing option and outstanding
customer service.” Sandy is a member
of the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association,
the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce
and the Eastern Connecticut Association
of Realtors. Sandy is licensed as a mortgage
broker in Connecticut.

Susan E. Shepherd, began
her career at The Diamond Mortgage Group™
as a mortgage consultant in 1998, and
was made a partner in 2002. Susan has
experienced all aspects of banking, including
customer service, consumer lending and
mortgage originating. Since 1993, she originated
consumer loans and mortgages as an assistant
manager of a bank. In 1996, Susan took
a position as mortgage originator, and has
been writing mortgages exclusively since
then. “Industry knowledge along with excellent
customer service are my priorities. At
Diamond Mortgage, we try to create a comfortable
atmosphere, and ease our customers through
the mortgage process.” Sue is a member of
the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce,
the Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors
and Mystic Chamber of Commerce.

Jill Hunt,
graduate of Johnson & Wales College,
began her career in the mortgage industry
in 1993, as a loan officer. She briefly
worked as a real estate para-legal in
a local law firm but found she missed
working on the lending side of the mortgage
business. Jill brought her well-rounded
experience to The Diamond Mortgage Group™
in 2001, when she began as the loan processor.

Janet Roberts, is
the sales assistant for The Diamond Mortgage
Group™. She began a career in banking
in 1982, as a teller in a large local
bank. She held various positions such
as Head Teller, Branch Operations Coordinator
and Customer Service Supervisor. She
left banking in 1993, to work for a mortgage
company as a loan opener but left in
1994, to stay home with her children.
She was active in her son's Cub Scout
Pack, holding the position of Treasurer
and Committee Chairman. Janet began working
for Diamond Mortgage in 2001, answering phones,
preparing customer packages, and assisting
the loan processor and officers in any
way possible.
